Get ready for some June vibes! Summer is finally here, bringing with it a wave of organizational needs. And what better way to embrace the season than with a juicy Watermelon-Inspired June Bullet Journal Spread?
How to create the cover page for the Watermelon-Inspired June Bullet Journal Spread.
After a rather offbeat May filled with rain and dust in my country, I’m absolutely itching to infuse my journal with some summer magic.
That’s why I’ve chosen a watermelon theme—a perfect embodiment of the season’s essence (not to mention my anticipation for indulging in juicy watermelon slices once again!).
Plus, I have added two extraordinary features to this bullet journal spread that have me bursting with excitement!
First things first, let’s talk about the cover page. Imagine a whole page dedicated to a vibrant watermelon slice, right at the forefront.
I’ve meticulously colored the rind using two shades of green—dark and slightly lighter—to create an intriguing visual effect.
Initially, I planned to leave a white space between the rind and the red part, but it felt somewhat awkward. So, I painted the entire fruit red.
Trust me, this cover page is a feast for the eyes!
But what truly steals the show for me is the month itself.
Brace yourself—I’ve crafted the letters for June using tiny watermelon seeds!
This whimsical and oh-so-special touch adds so much character to the entire spread. It’s the little things that make a big difference, right?
And just to ensure no white space goes unnoticed, I’ve sprinkled some delightful “drops” of juice, perfectly filling any remaining blank space on the page.
Organize, Track, and Cherish: The essential Elements of the calendar, memories tracker, and expenses tracker in Your Bullet Journal.
Now, let’s explore the monthly calendar. I’ve created a grid using the same green marker as the watermelon.
The days and dates are written in eye-catching red, catching your attention instantly.
Instead of including a typical to-do page, I decided to switch things up. I dedicated a small column to jot down my reminders, using the red marker once again.
To add a playful touch, I shaped the bullets as watermelon seeds, making the entire layout unique and engaging.
Prepare to be amazed by the next addition—a special insert for unforgettable memories.
Since this is a summer-themed bullet journal, I’ve added a dedicated page to preserve photographs from those precious moments.
June happens to be my best friend’s bachelorette party, which means an abundance of photos to capture! After writing the title, I incorporated three boxes.
To mark the frames, I used an old photo and positioned it just right. With two vertical and one horizontal frame, it’s the perfect setup to showcase my memories.
Oh, and I couldn’t resist adorning the page with a couple of adorable watermelon slices for an extra touch of decor.
Keeping track of expenses is always crucial, especially during vacation time.
So, I’ve included an expenses page, adorned once again with delightful watermelon slices.
Just remember to leave ample space to meticulously record your expenditures and ensure your budget stays on track while you bask in the summer sun.
How to add three fun watermelon themed trackers to your bullet journal: Mood Tracker, Water Intake Tracker, Exercise Tracker.
Are you ready for the cherry (or should I say watermelon) on top? Brace yourself, because the trackers in this spread will blow your mind!
This month, I didn’t settle for just one or two trackers—I went all out and included three, with one being a double tracker. Talk about an extravaganza!
For this tracker, draw 30 watermelon slices.
To ensure uniformity, I’ve got a neat trick for you. Take a piece of scrap cardstock and draw a perfect slice with a triangle shape and a gentle curve underneath.
By using this as a guide, each fruit in your tracker will maintain a consistent and captivating appearance.
With a skilled hand and a trusty black pen, I carefully outlined the perimeter of each slice. To add an extra touch of authenticity, I added a subtle line of green along the bottom of the fruit.
But the real magic happens inside each watermelon slice. I sketch the outline of eight seeds, leaving them unfilled with ink.
Now, let me share how I plan to use this double tracker.
Each slice serves as a mood tracker, allowing me to paint the watermelons in varying shades of red according to my mood.
I’ve chosen to track four specific moods: calm, tired, energetic, and pessimistic. These encompass the range of emotions I commonly experience, ensuring that the tracker remains both practical and reflective of my day-to-day experiences.
But wait, there’s more! This tracker isn’t limited to moods alone—it also counts my water intake!
Within each slice, I’ve drawn eight seeds, and here’s the exciting part: every time I drink a glass of water, I color in the inside of a seed.
This innovative concept fills me with pure excitement, as it not only saves valuable time and space by combining two trackers, but it also makes the act of tracking my water intake an absolute joy.
Trust me, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as drawing those charming watermelon seeds.
Now, you might be wondering whether to add the date on the rind of the watermelon. While it’s entirely up to you, I personally chose not to include it since this is a daily tracker and I can easily keep track of the current day.
Are you ready for the next tracker? Brace yourself for a gigantic slice of watermelon dedicated to tracking your exercise endeavors.
Imagine a half circle as big as the page, bursting with energy and motivation. Inside this glorious fruit, I’ve meticulously placed seeds of different sizes and shapes, scattered in a random pattern to give it that natural, organic look.
Just like the cover, I painted the watermelon using the same techniques—two shades of green for the rind and a vibrant red for the juicy flesh.
But here’s the real excitement—inside each seed, I wrote the date.
This is where the magic happens. Every day that I engage in any form of exercise (even a 20-minute walk counts as a win!), I proudly paint the corresponding seed black.
Trust me, by the end of the month, it’s going to be exhilarating to see just how many black seeds I’ve accumulated—a visual representation of my dedication and progress.
Now, I must confess, I had a little mishap during the creation of this tracker.
I miscalculated the number of seeds and ended up with two extras.
But, here’s the surprising part—it turned out to be a happy accident!
At first, I tried to cover them with red ink, but it didn’t work.
I then painted those extra seeds black and scattered a few more here and there.
The result? An unexpectedly beautiful and dynamic page. I loved it so much that I even added a few random seeds to the cover page, tying the entire spread together seamlessly.
To ensure a polished look, I carefully trimmed any extra space on the page.
And just like that, the watermelon-themed June bullet journal spread is complete—a true masterpiece that captures the essence of summer, organization, and your vibrant spirit.
