Creating an Easy Mother’s Day card, in only a few minutes.  

This year, I opted for something quick and easy, considering the busy schedule post-Greek Easter. Utilizing leftover flowers from another project, I crafted a lovely card that anyone can replicate with minimal effort.

What makes this card so special is its simplicity. You don’t need fancy supplies or extensive crafting skills – it’s perfect for all ages, even kids can join in on the fun!

To start, choose your background paper. I opted for a vibrant cardstock featuring a dual pattern: a solid orange section alongside a striped design. Leaving a strip of the striped pattern creates a more interesting focal point.

While you can use any paper you like, I recommend avoiding overly floral designs to maintain balance.

Next, gather your paper roses or a small bouquet.

Wrap them neatly with craft paper to conceal the stems, creating a classic bouquet appearance.

Secure them with a complementary ribbon, like the blue one I used, adding a delightful contrast to the background.

Using a glue gun, carefully attach the bouquet to the card. Also apply glue to both the top and bottom of the bouquet to ensure it stays in place securely. Additionally, add glue between the stems and the paper  for extra reinforcement.

Now, onto the message! I opted for sticker letters for a playful touch.

These are a budget-friendly way to convey your sentiment without splurging on crafting supplies.

And there you have it – your Simple Mother’s Day card is complete! It’s so quick and easy, taking only a few minutes to assemble.

Supplies you will need to make the Easy Mother’s Day card.

Chances are, you already have most of the materials on hand. For the background, I used the Waffle Flower Half-Half Lines – Enchanted Paper Pad.

As for the flowers, you can easily find paper roses in craft stores, or opt for a small bouquet of dried blooms.

Craft paper and satin ribbon are perfect for creating the bouquet, and you can repurpose leftover paper or fabric for this purpose.

Lastly, for the message, I used Pinkfresh Studio Sunshine On My Mind, Mini Puffy Alphas.
