Creating the perfect cover page for the February Bullet Journal Hearts Spread.

I’m super excited to show you this. It’s a monthly spread I made last year but never got around to posting.

Since I really liked how it turned out and it’s easy for someone new to bullet journaling to do, I thought I’d share it with you.

For the title, I used stamps, the simple wooden ones you can find in any craft store. Sometimes the letters of those stamps don’t line up perfectly, but no worries.

My plan was to make the title to look fun and hide any crooked letters,so I drew a line down the middle of the page and stamped the letters along it.

I picked a soft pink-purple color that matches the decorative paper I’m using.

To decorate the spread, I used scrap paper from old card projects.

In order to cut the hearts, I used a basic shape cutter, again the type you can find in any stationery shop.

The cool thing is, you don’t need fancy art supplies for this spread. If you don’t have these supplies, just write the titles by hand and cut the hearts with scissors.

For gluing the hearts, don’t stress it. Just throw them on the paper and glue them where they land.

Quick note: this is my old bullet journal with thin pages, so you might see a faint impression of the design ghosting on the next page.

If yours is similar, use a glue stick, not liquid glue, or it might wrinkle the paper when it dries.

Creating the calendar February Bullet Journal Hearts Spread.

For the calendar, I used pink tones, again, to express the February feeling.

I made a grid and decorated it with hearts around the edge. I mix it up with some hearts cut in half or missing a piece.

Then, I glued a few random hearts on the date boxes to add more color.

Adding a “To do” page, an “Expenses” page, and a “Tracker” page to the bullet journal.

Of course it wouldn’t be a bullet journal without  a To-Do page ,an Expenses page and a Mood Tracker.

I kept the To Do page and the Expenses page simple. I just sprinkled some hearts there too, just for fun.

Lastly, my favorite part—the mood tracker! I used a die-cut heart as a guide and drew 28 hearts, one for each day of the month.

The plan is to color one every day according to my mood. At the end of the tracker, I glued on two extra pink hearts to make up for the short February. And there you have it, a complete calendar!

Supplies you will need to make the February Bullet Journal Hearts Spread.

For this month’s calendar, you won’t need many materials—just an alphabet stamp and a heart punch.  

For stamping I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Milled Lavender.

 The pens I used include the SAKURA Pigma Micron 01 Fineliner Pen. For the colored pens, I opted for Stabilo’s Colors 88/28 Blush, 88/58 Lilac, 88/49 Strawberry Red, 88/89 Dark Ochre, 88/88 light ochre.
