December is here, bringing along the most festive mood of the year! Let’s dive into planning the final month with this December Bullet Journal.

Creating the December Bullet Journal Cover Page.

We’ll start with the cover page of the December bullet journal. For a while now, I’ve wanted to create a spread featuring a cozy window and a Christmas village.

When I came across some beautiful washi tapes, I knew they would tie everything together perfectly.

I began by making a frame and adding stickers to craft a living room scene.

This little room features a couch, a fireplace, and, of course, a Christmas tree decked out with festive décor.

To add depth to the design, I placed larger stickers of a chair and table at the bottom of the page, giving the illusion that they’re closer to the viewer.

Using a gold marker, I accented the frame to make it look like a picture frame, then added the title to complete the section.

Next came the window design. I kept it simple—a large rectangle divided into six smaller squares.

To match the look of the title, I used the same color to shade the window frame, then carefully cut out the insides of each square with an X-Acto knife.

To make the background feel more realistic, I filled the page with hand-drawn bricks, creating the look of a wall.

With that, the cover page was almost ready! This spread also includes Dutch doors, which are an integral part of the design.

The idea was to depict the living room as the interior scene, with a window looking out onto a festive Christmas village.

When you turn the page featuring the window, it reveals the cozy interior of the house.

Designing the Festive Village Dutch Doors. 

For the Christmas village, I designed three tabs to add layers and dimension.

On the first and smallest tab, I placed a Christmas tree in the center, surrounded by houses.

To make this section dynamic, I carefully fussy-cut around the stickers, removing any excess pages.

I also used this tab as a to-do list to keep track of December tasks.

The second tab was slightly larger, so I used this space as a gift list. Having a designated place to jot down holiday shopping details is essential for staying organized.

On the third and final tab, I added a third row of houses to make the village feel even more complete.

This page became the space for my trackers. For the mood tracker, I kept the design simple by creating squares to color each day according to my mood.

For the habit tracker, I opted for a straightforward format with a title and small calendars for each habit. Every time I stick to a habit, I’ll mark the corresponding date.

To add a magical touch to my village, I used black paper as a backdrop and drew golden fireworks to create a festive night sky. 

This section of the journal also became a memories page, where I’ll attach Polaroid photos of holiday moments.

The overall spread came together so beautifully, and for extra flair, I scattered a few more stickers on any blank spaces to enhance the festive theme.

No December bullet journal is complete without a calendar!

For this, I created a simple layout for the month and decorated the edges with stickers of the Christmas village.

The countdown to the new year is officially on—only 31 days left! I can’t help but look forward to 2025, hoping it brings fresh beginnings and joyful surprises.

I also included an expenses page to keep track of my holiday spending.

For the title, I designed a gallery wall using a collection of stickers, arranging them to resemble framed artwork. To tie it all together, I added more festive decorations throughout the page. 

And with that, my final bullet journal spread for 2024 is complete!

It feels incredibly satisfying to close out the year with such a cheerful and creative project. Here’s to making this December as magical and memorable as possible!
